PNM Prosperity Energy Storage project is one of 16 DOE Energy Storage Awardees . $2.3M DOE funding America's security and prosperity by addressing its energy, environmental and nuclear challenges through transformative science and technology solutions.

UNM is creating detailed and accurate models of several of the feeders in Albuquerque, including Mesa Del Sol.   An expected outcome is to provide algorithms for optimal storage (battery) utilization for community energy storage.
